| The principal avenues of inquiry are the study of genetic resources of main forest forming species, conservation and regeneration of valuable genotypes of forest trees with the use of methods of biotechnology and development of methods of forest seed production on the basis of principles of genetics and breeding. |
Основные направления научных исследований
- фитопатологический мониторинг лесных питомников и насаждений с использованием генетических методов;
- изучение молекулярно-генетических механизмов патогенеза лесных древесных растений и вирулентности фитопатогенов;
- анализ структурно-функциональной организации геномов древесных растений и фитопатогенных микроорганизмов.
Перспективные планы
- молекулярно-генетические основы устойчивости растений и вирулентности патогенов;
- технологии геномного редактирования.

The Laboratory was formed in 2020. The staff of the division is represented by 9 employees, including 2 candidate of sciences, 4 research scientists, 3 master's students.
The main areas of fundamental applied research:
- phytopathological monitoring of forest nurseries and plantings using genetic methods;
- study of molecular and genetic mechanisms of pathogenesis of forest woody plants and virulence of phytopathogens;
- analysis of the structural and functional organization of the genomes of woody plants and phytopathogenic microorganisms.
Perspective plans:
- molecular and genetic basis of plant resistance and pathogen virulence;
- genomic editing technologies.
